Photographers & Photoshop Series March 27-28, 2010. 9am to 5pm. $550
Stephen Johnson Studios & Gallery
This workshop continues a new series of classes concentrating on the tools within Photoshop critical to Photographers. It is a great chance to explore digital photographic editing with Steve in his custom-built lab. Your photographic work will benefit from this hands-on class and Steve's demonstrations of his use of editing tools, executed with restraint and finesse. This class is designed to break down the steps to really understand the processes, and to work through difficult images. These two days will be spent exploring the tools really needed by photographers for fundamental image repair and restoration. Various sharpening techniques and the archiving of your files will be our additional primary concerns. Software concentration will be mainly on Adobe Photoshop CS4, but will look at other tools as well like Adobe Lightroom. A number of images with various challenges will be worked through to satisfaction during the course of the workshop. Full lab access is provided with access to color management tools and printers. This seminar is designed to expand your Photoshop skills and empower you to make your photographs more what you want them to be. Some previous exploration of Photoshop is recommended. If you hold your place in the class with the 50% deposit, the final payment must be received 30 days prior to class. Or call us to use a Credit Card to Register by phone 650 355-7507. This workshop is financially dependent on adequate class registration. Where minimum enrollment requirements are not met, the class will be canceled, and a full refund given. You will be notified at least one week in advance if a workshop is not going to take place. Student initiated cancellations received prior to one month before the workshop will receive a full refund, a 50% refund will be given for notice received 2 weeks immediately prior to the workshop (a full refund less a $50 overhead fee will be given if another student is able to fill the spot from a waiting list).
