Photo Fundamentals
Monday evening, September 12, 2005, 7-10pm

Stephen Johnson Studios & Gallery
Pacifica, California.

Getting interested in Photography? Do you have only the vaguest idea of what aperture, shutter and ISO is? Do you need help with exposure and composition? Do you know about depth of field and aperture? This 3 hour introductory lecture is for you.

We are frequently asked where someone should go for basic photography instruction. There are certainly classes around, many at Community Colleges and many private classes. Some involve darkroom work, which is not where many people want any longer to go. We have decided to periodically offer this basic photo lecture to help people get started in taking photography more seriously, whether digital or silver-based.

People working with both film and digital cameras can benefit from this lecture, covering the basics of photography and including a question and answer session.

This illustrated talk is part of a monthly series of lectures at his Pacifica California Studio.

Admission: $45. $10 of admission price can be applied to any purchase over $50 during the evening.

RSVP is required as seating is limited. Event occurs rain or shine, refunds with one week prior notice only if your seat is filled. 650 355-7507 or email michelle@sjphoto.com
