New Photograph: Posted June 18, 2010 Heron and Gopher. Pacifica, CA Driving by the local High School Tennis Courts I noticed this Great Blue pecking at the grass. I've always thought of Great Blue Heron as one our most beautiful birds, so naturally I stopped to photograph. Suddenly his head shot down and came back up with this unfortunate gopher. The swallowing sequence to the right was assembled in Photoshop by opening frames in Layers, Aligning them, then the using the Animation palette. |
