A crisp, clean sunrise with the first light stetching out over the Pacific greeted our first morning at Redwood National Park north of Eureka. Our visit came on our way home at the end of two weeks on the road through the Pacific Northwest. It was great to be back in California near home turf. The surf below was muted, mist and fog were lifting and swirling. A sign on the trail warned parents of recent Mountain Lion activity which kept us watching the kids closely. I set up the photograph shortly before the sun hit the water and was very pleased with wave rhythm and delicate light recorded. The misty rock towers in the distance have always drawn me deep into the photograph.

We're offering an 11x14 inch print, matted to 16x20 and ready to frame for $195, framed for an additional $75. This print at this price is offered through November 30. We'll be taking orders until then, and shipping them out by December 15th.
