This photograph is part of the national parks series "With a New Eye" made on the May 1997 trip to South Dakota. The erosion patterns in the muddy hills were very typical of the Badlands, the reddish soil remarkable. This photograph has rarely been shown, but remains one of my favorites from the project. It is the opening page for the Badlands chapter in the book I'm preparing on the parks project.

We're offering an 11x14 inch print, matted to 16x20 and ready to frame for $195, framed for an additional $75. This print at this price is offered through October 31. We'll be taking orders until then, and shipping them out by November 15. This photograph won't be available again at this price.

About the program

Each month we offer a print at a special price. This is a great opportunity to own a very affordable fine-art photograph. Orders are taken for a 30-day period, then printed and shipped within two weeks after the close. When it's over, it's over, these prints won't be available again at this price.
