Working with Steve has been an absolutely incredible experience. I have spent numerous hours working side by side with Steve while he teaches his studio workshops, not only being an extra hand during the workshops, but continuously learning from his broad knowledge of photography and the technical side of the craft. Working in his studio, you get to learn the intricacies of running a business and are given the opportunity to share creative ideas. This past winter, I helped Steve curate his exhibit, Exquisite Earth. I got to work with Steve during every step of the process – from an idea to the hanging of the final prints on the gallery walls. I could not be more thankful for the opportunity I have had to learn from such a wonderful mentor and friend. -Emma Simmons |
